I’ve never owned a Morphe make up product, I own a couple of their brushes, but none of their recognisable palettes. I’ve had my eyes on the 35P for a while, I’m a fan of hues of purple and red, and the 36P looked right up my street.
I purchased the palette from Beauty Bay, my go to online beauty store, for £22. In my eyes, £22 for 35 colours is very affordable, so I didn’t have any issues with the price. On Morphe’s site, the 35P is priced at $22.99, which when converted into pounds, is a little cheaper, but due to expensive shipping fees, I chose to purchase off Beauty Bay.
In the palette there are 16 shimmery shades, leaving 19 matte ones. I’d say the palette is occupied by more brown hues than purple, but that doesn’t leave me complaining – all the shades are stunning. The purple shades are more shimmery than matte, but the burgundy colours make a beautiful base for a purple shimmer.
I can’t believe how pigmented all of the shades are. There is a little fallout, but nothing too much.
Below are a the swatches of the top row (the far right shimmery purple, oh my!).
Ease of Use
The shades are incredibly easy to work with, they’re buildable and very easy to blend.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Morphe 35P. It’s very good value for such an amazing quality product. I class myself as a beginner with make up, and this palette would be a great product for those that are just starting out. The colours in the palette make is easy to create a natural look, and just as easy to create a more shimmery glam look.
I’m in love with the 35P, I shall definitely be re-buying this when mine comes to an end!
