Leeds Shopping Haul

Last weekend myself and my boyfriend decided to treat ourselves to a mini weekend away. We stayed in Leeds for a night, which is about an hour away from where we live. We had a lovely dinner out at Red’s True BBQ followed by cocktails at the Alchemist – both places I’d highly recommend, they’re a little on the expensive side but definitely worth it.

Saturday was spent shopping, and by about 2pm by bank account was telling me to go home… I thought I’d share a few of my purchases with you.

Beauty

Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita (£17 at Debenhams)

I’m a big fan of Kat’s products, but never have I owned one her signature liquid lips. Everyone raves about Lolita, when I swatched it in store, I can understand why. I’s such a beautiful deep pink, I couldn’t resist.

Kat Von D’s Metal Crush Eyeshadow in Thunderstruck (£17 at Debenhams)

I’ve heard this eyeshadow works wonders as a highlighter, so I was super excited when I saw this on the shelves. I was torn between buying this or the Alchemist Holographic Highlighter palette, but when the cashier told me the Alchemist pallet was out of stock, it made my decision a lot easier.

Urban Decay’s Naked Heat Palette (£39.50 at Debenhams)

Now, I’m very late to the party but at least I’m here, and damn I’m so excited to be! I finally picked this beautiful creation up. There was no hesitation at all when I saw this at the Urban Decay counter, I’ve had my eyes on it since it’s release, and finally, it’s now mine. I can’t wait to get stuck into this, keep your eyes peeled for a review (another won’t hurt)!

KIKO Milano Single Eyeshadows (£1 at KIKO Milano)

While in Leeds, KIKO were having a sale, and as I’ve never used a KIKO product before, I thought why not try something out? They had a small selection of single eyeshadows that were reduced to £1.00, so I picked out some colours I wouldn’t usually go for.

Below, from left to right are shades 262, 263, 263, 266, 274 & 278.

KIKO Milano Nail Lacquer in 365 (£1.00 at KIKO Milano)

I’ve only recently started to paint my nails, so while I was shopping in the sale at KIKO, I took advantage of it and picked up this pretty pink colour. If anyone has any favourite nail brands that are cruelty free, I’d be open to suggestions in the comments!

Fashion

Pusheen 3 Pack Socks (£3 at Primark)

Almost everyone that I meet always points out how I’m wearing odd socks, they’re never basic odd socks either, its always two different patterns. So to please others, my boyfriends family especially, I picked up a cute pack of socks. Let’s see how long these last in pairs…

Knitted Jumper (£10 at Primark)

I’ve never been one for knitted jumpers, however with Autumn fast approaching, I thought I’d give one a go. This is the cutest sweater, it’s soft, slightly cropped and tight around the arms – which I love. I always found knitwear to be incredibly itchy, this however, is just super soft and very cozy.

Tartan Scarf (£4 at Primark)

For the upcoming colder months, I picked up this simple tartan scarf. It’s very long and even comfier than it looks. I rarely buy scarves, but since losing my beloved simple cream knitted scarf last year, I thought it was probably time for a new one.

Printed T-shirt (£6.99 at Mango)

One of my final purchases was this cute tee from Mango, it’s the first time I’ve ever purchased from there. They had a really good selection of clothes at very affordable prices, which I was surprised by, I’ve always assumed they would have been a little expensive.

I hope you enjoyed reading this little haul post. Let me know in the comments what you’ve been up to this weekend and if you bought anything nice?
