September Favourites

Happy October (3 days late, better now than never right?)! I can’t believe we’re in October already, September flew by, I hope you all had a lovely month and are feeling autumnal now we’re transitioning into this perfect time of year!

Time for another favourites post, now this one is really short. I found that I didn’t add many new products to my routine, or if I did, I haven’t fallen in love with them yet. I’ve stuck to the same routine this month also, which I’m determined not to do in October! My goal for this month is to mix up my routine and try different products.

I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts in Goddess of Faith (£4.99 at

The number of bloggers I saw raving about this highlighter was insane, I had to try it, and I was not at all disappointed. The pigmentation of the product is incredible, and I find it stays put all day. I love a blinding highlighter, and I’ve not stopped using this one since I bought it.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Taupe (£8.00 at

I picked this up at the beginning of the month and I’ve used it every day since I bought my next product. Fun fact – this is the first brow product I’ve owned! I previously just used a light brown eyeshadow to fill in my sparse areas, but this brow pencil is a life changer! I’d never go back to eyeshadows now I’ve used this.

NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade in Blonde (£8.00 at

For some reason, I was always nervous to use a pomade, as I’ve never worked with one before (honestly, I don’t know…). However, I picked one up the other week and honestly, I don’t know what I was so scared of. I find it so much easier to use than the pencil, and I’ve never loved my brows more.

Spectrum Brushes (varying prices at

These brushes have been growing on me a lot this month. I first purchased the A08, B06 & C06 back in late August, and since I’ve picked up the Aa07 & A17 and there isn’t a day that I don’t reach for them. I previously favoured my Morphe brushes for my eye makeup, but since I’ve found that the Spectrum brushes are so much softer and easier to work with. I’d definitely like to try some of their face brushes.

I’m sorry this is so short! I’m going to try and make the month of October for trying new things so I have more to write about.

What’s the best thing that happened to you in September?
