ColourPop Haul & Review

With the launch of the ColourPop x My Little Pony collection, I finally decided to place my first order from ColourPop Cosmetics. I’ve heard so many good things about this brand, from their product quality to their customer service, but I was always put off by their international delivery charge ($9.99!!).

Their products are very affordable, with liners, lipsticks and shadows starting at $5 (roughly £3.79). I managed to total my order over $50, which enabled free international shipping. However, I forgot about the customs charges, so when I collected my package from Royal Mail I had a fee of £19 to pay (customs charges are determined by the weight of your package).

Yes, Please! Palette

My first impression of both the palettes was the size! I assumed I’d receive a larger palette, but these just fit in the palm of my hand. However, the colours are stunning and super pigmented, especially the shimmers. I’ll do a full review of both the Yes, Please! and the My Little Pony palette.

ColourPop x My Little Pony Palette

I’m not a huge fan of My Little Pony, I never grew up with the franchise as a child, but when I saw the colours in this palette, I had to grab one! The teals are so pretty.

ColourPop x My Little Pony Super Shock Shadow – Sunbeam

This is my first time owning a Super Shock Shadow, and I’m definitely impressed. The texture is a little different from normal shadows, they’re incredibly soft and so satisfying to swatch!

Pressed Powder Shadow Set – Unfinished Business

3 Shadows Sets were launched at the beginning of Autumn, for me, Unfinished Business is by far the prettiest. The set consists of 6 pressed powder shadows, working out at roughly £2.81 each. Again, the pigmentation can’t be faulted, especially the gold! Fortune Cookie arrived slightly damaged, but nothing major.

Crème Gel Liners – HoneyDude & Over Board

I was spoilt for choice when I was picking out liners, I decided to go for a pretty nude colour and a slightly shimmery brown. These liners are perfect for the waterline, they last so well and are super creamy, making application effortless. I’ll definitely be purchasing some more of these!

Lippie Stix – Lumière

I’m so Impressed with the quality of this lipstick, it’s not at all drying and lasts well, especially considering the price! It’s also the perfect Autumnal shade!

Overall, I’m so please with my first ColourPop order. I don’t think I could regularly purchase from them due to the shipping and customs charge. If you’re like me I’d recommend taking advantage of any free shipping promotions they offer though!

Have you ever ordered from ColourPop?
